Tour Itinerary

Morning – Departure from Hue

Pick-up at around 6:00am from your hotel in Hue city center. It’s a long drive north — about 3.5 hours — to reach Phong Nha town.

Late Morning – Phong Nha Cave

Arrive in Phong Nha at around 9:30am. Board a boat for a roughly 30-minute cruise along the Son River to the cave mouth. Phong Nha Cave is a wet cave and one of the largest cave systems in Vietnam — inside, your guide leads you past chambers known as the Fairy Tale Grotto, Royal Palace, Lion, and Bi Ki, among others.

Midday – Lunch

Around 12:00pm, stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha town.

Afternoon – Paradise Cave

At around 1:00pm, continue about 25km to Paradise Cave. Unlike Phong Nha, this is a dry cave. From the parking area, take a short electric car ride followed by a 670m walk to the cave entrance. Inside, you’ll spend 2–3 hours exploring striking stalactite and stalagmite formations with names like Cathedral, Ruby Rabbit, Lotus Flower, Sky Tower, and Galaxy Waterfall.

Evening – Return to Hue

After the cave visit, it’s back in the car for the drive south, arriving back at your Hue hotel at around 7:00–7:30pm.
